Heather

Heather Walke was introduced to yoga through an Ashtanga workshop in 2005. She looked at yoga as a way to balance her running with some “stretching”. To her surprise, and delight, yoga challenged her to reach new heights physically, mentally and spiritually. She has found freedom in finding peace in even the most strenuous of poses Marco Calderon October 27, 201207and has learned to carry it over to other aspects of her daily life.

Heather has practiced Anusura and Ashtanga styles of yoga, but takes a more eclectic stance in her practice. She became a 200-hr RYT through Lehigh Valley Yoga in 2009 and received her Yoga for Athletes certification in a 40-hr. training with Sage Rountree in 2012.   Heather continues to run and has recently picked up cycling and swimming. Her desire is to share the mental, physical and spiritual challenge of yoga with others so that they might find a personal release in their life.
