Mark

Amico Studios-7307When asked about how he came to practice yoga, Mark Stettner enthusiastically explains how he and his four-legged companion Zev came across the West End Yoga studio on a walk one afternoon in 2013. Little did he know that this would be the day that would begin his yoga journey.  Soon after he entered West End Yoga’s YTT 200-hour program and received his RYT certificate in January of 2014.  His love of yoga and desire in becoming more physically, emotionally and spiritually stronger became an unrelenting passion as he continued his journey into a YTT 500-hour teacher training program at The Yoga Loft in Bethlehem.

Looking forward to receiving his RYT 500 in the fall of 2016, Mark is already planning his next teacher training in therapeutic yoga.  His background as an athlete and canine trainer gives him a unique perspective that is highly evident in his practice and teaching.  Mark’s admiration and understanding of the breath, spirit and energy came to fruition from a very early age as a competitive swimmer and horseback rider. His past experience working with horses and dogs (and recently wolves) grants him the ability to work with an open mind, heart (kindness) and hands (gentleness). Being patient, positive and persistent is a mantra that has guided Mark from his days of training animals to his current yoga practice.

Come join Mark for a joyous experience that will leave you enlightened and renewed!
