Janice (Ravi Hari) Bourdage, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and veteran Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher with three decades teaching experience.  She considers herself fortunate to have studied directly with Kundalini Yoga Master, Yogi Bhajan, as well as other “first generation” KY teachers.  Yogi Bhajan instructed his students to become ten times better than he as a teacher.  This is Ravi Hari’s legacy and hope for her students – that they may go on to become teachers and humanitarian guides in their own right, set the bar ever higher, and, in sharing their divine gifts on this earthly plane, help to make this world a better, kinder, and more compassionate place for living beings of all species.

With her background as a mental health counselor, animal rights advocate, and professional modern dancer and theater artist, Ravi Hari brings to her classes an ecstatic appreciation of life in all its diversity, as well as a love of movement, rhythm, words, and the workings of the human mind.

As a perennial student, Ravi Hari is intrigued with the notion of how people learn and is constantly looking for ways to help each individual master the basic building blocks of whatever discipline she is teaching. She believes that while everyone, given the right environment, is capable of learning, teaching is for those who can remember a time in their own lives when that special someone took the time, offered unlimited encouragement, exercised infinite patience, and then, let go…. and watched with joy as you took flight!
