This 5-hour intensive is intended for both yoga teachers and interested students to gain a deeper knowledge of the structure, history and principles of Yin Yoga.  Receive the tools to develop an ongoing stillness practice and learn about the many benefits this style can offer.

Often our active lifestyles leave us feeling unsettled, stressed or even worn out. By aligning the body to settle into these long-held floor postures, we observe and experience the positive effect of spending time in the postures and bring awareness to the difficulty of staying present to ourselves.

Expect to practice and discuss this approach to asana while questioning how our individual anatomy changes the shape of each pose and reflect on the overall effect throughout the subtle body energy system.  Wear comfortable layers for movement.
