Kacie

Kacie Diederich took her first yoga class in 2006 while in law school as a complement to her long distance running, hoping that it would help with flexibility and strength. She eventually found West End Yoga and fell in love with the studio, its owners, instructors and fellow yogis. She continued practicing throughout the years, sometimes consistently and sometimes inconsistently, until health issues forced her to stop running in 2020. She began practicing yoga daily, at first as a way to gently move and strengthen her body. She found that it helped soothe her nervous system and take her out of her head and into her body. Being on her yoga mat and moving and breathing through asanas feels like being home in her body. Kacie was delighted that she was able to complete 200-hour yoga teacher training at West End in 2023 despite living in Vermont (thank you, livestream!). Her initial intention for becoming a certified yoga teacher was to deepen her practice and learn more about the spiritual aspects of yoga. However, the siren song of teaching lured her in. She is excited about the opportunity to share the gift of yoga with others.
