Kelly

Kelly Safi first came to discover yoga when she was 20 years old. After being diagnosed with OCD and generalized anxiety disorder, her doctors recommended she find something to help quiet the chatter going on inside her mind. Always fascinated by the practice, but too scared to try, she decided to step out of her comfort zone and give yoga a shot. Over the past 14 years, Kelly has been practicing yoga to maintain peace and balance within her life. One of the reasons she loves yoga so much is because it reminds her of her younger years as a gymnast, minus the competitive nature that gymnastics brings. In yoga there is no desire or need to be perfect or “the best” – simply being yourself is enough. Teaching and sharing her yoga have always been a dream of hers, and with the support of her husband, she completed her 200-hr yoga teacher training at West End Yoga in 2023. As with many things in her life, Kelly has learned that growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone and go after the things that set your soul on fire. And with that, she took a leap and has put her dream of teaching yoga into motion! Kelly gains inspiration from fellow yoga teachers and loves creating classes that share what she has learned from previous classes she has taken. After being a 2nd grade teacher for 8 years, she is excited to embark on this new and different way to “teach” and is looking forward to sharing her yoga with you all!
