Sherry Baublitz found yoga during a season of stress and anxiety, and it quickly became a steady, supportive way to reconnect with her body, calm her mind, and cultivate greater well-being. What began as a personal practice grew into a heartfelt desire to share yoga as a tool for self-care, resilience, and compassion.
Sherry is a 200-hour certified teacher through West End Yoga, a trained somatic and yin yoga teacher, and holds a 95-hour children’s yoga certification, along with training in mindfulness, MBSR, and kids mindfulness. Her teaching is trauma-informed and rooted in somatic awareness, and she especially enjoys guiding meditative practices that support nervous system regulation, rest, and deeper self-connection. She is currently completing her 500-hour training through West End Yoga and Yoga Medicine.
Her classes offer mindful, accessible movement with an emphasis on breath, body awareness, and self-compassion. Sherry strives to create inclusive spaces where students feel welcome just as they are, and she firmly believes that yoga is for every body — no flexibility required.
