Amy

Amy Dangler began teaching yoga in 2023. She first discovered yoga as a college course, and for the past 20 years has taken a plethora of yoga classes. In 2009, a coworker started to teach yoga to a group after work. It was then that a yoga practice, and especially breathwork, became a vital part of her prenatal and childbirth experiences. Pregnancy Yoga (Shiva Rea’s DVD) helped her feel empowered and joyful, and then yoga breathwork kept her calm and centered during the birth of her son. Amy first found West End Yoga when they offered a preschool yoga group when her son was a toddler. West End became her “home” yoga studio, and she is still here. In 2022 she “flowed” from student to teacher by becoming a 200-hr RYT through the Child Light Yoga Education Program.

Amy feels yoga feeds her soul and allows her to focus inward. She truly believes that yoga is for every body, and strives to be a guide for you on your personal yoga journey. Amy is also a mindfulness and kids yoga educator with the Pratyush Sinha Foundation.
